On behalf of Hines Netherlands we are currently recruiting for a Lease Administrator. Hines Netherlands (HNL) is a permanently established business and a subsidiary of Hines Europe, which again is part of Hines, a global leader in real estate with € 92.3 billion of investments under management. Established in 2017, HNL has since made fifteen investments totaling approximately € 950m and is currently invested in the logistics, office and residential real estate sectors. HNL is invested through Hines funds, JV partners as well as the Hines balance sheet. HNL is actively looking to add to its portfolio and is constantly exploring development and investment opportunities, as well as to improve existing investments. HNL is organised through its main departments, namely those responsible for Acquisitions, Management Services (Asset, Property and Facility Management), Development and Finance.

Functieomschrijving


Position

The Lease Administrator will be part of the Management Services department and will be based in Amsterdam, Venlo or Poeldijk. The individual will work closely together with the asset, property and facility management teams, therefore enjoying a wide exposure to commercial and technical contracts within the organisation. She / he will be part of the growing Hines Netherlands team which currently encompasses about 35 individuals. The continued growth of the assets under management has brought about the need for this hire.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and reviewing leases, riders, terminations and other commercial agreements;
  • Drafting and reviewing maintenance contracts, offer letters, SLA’s and other technical contracts;
  • Filing of relevant documentation and contracts in a defined management services folder structure;
  • Legal support in negotiations with tenants and service providers;
  • Remaining updated of new developments that influence Hines’ position in legal and contract matters in relevant fields of interest;
  • Maintaining templates of contracts including leases, maintenance contracts, offer letters and other repetitive contracts;
  • To monitor and follow-up on various ad-hoc actions and requests.

The candidate will:

  • Have completed a bachelor or masters course;
  • Have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
  • Have a positive attitude, is communicative and fosters a good team spirit;
  • Be accurate and have a good eye for detail;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word;
  • Be fluent in Dutch and strong English, both written and spoken;
  • Be ambitious and motivated to working in an international growing business.
