On behalf of Multi Corporation, a Pan-European retail asset management, property management and (re)development firm, we are currently exclusively recruiting for a Junior Development Manager. Multi manages over 80 retail assets across Europe, currently active in 12 countries, providing expertise in design, strategy, and management. Our teams work in a wide range of different regions, gaining international experience in the real estate industry.
As a Junior development Manager you are working on the redevelopment of existing retails assets through the addition of and/or partial conversion into residential units.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the development projects are run to the determined quality standards and in time to mitigate risks.
- Managing the wishes and requirements of stakeholders (tenants, investors, public authorities, sustainability requirements, etc.) for the design process.
- Able to oversee project team resources in a matrix environment.
- Develop and reach agreement on development plans; determine, procure and manage appropriate resources internally/externally to deliver the projects; implement and maintain a consistent project management methodology.
- Manage all aspects of cross project risk, issues and contingency.
- Ensure business sponsorship and engagement.
- Provide management reports and updates.
- Communicating complex issues in simple report format to all levels in the organization.
- Manage forecast and planning.
- Facilitating and monitoring the budget requirements.
- Work with Finance to understand impact of any tasking or re-phasing on project.
- Ensure project delivers the capability to enable the stated benefits.
Working relationships:
Internal:
- Close cooperation with the Board of directors of Multi Corporation and other members of the local management team.
External:
- Investors, tenants, public authorities, third party service providers.
Skils:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a Development manager’s role in the field of residential developments. Additional experience in office developments is a plus.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Considers commercial opportunities and challenges.
- Awareness of politics/environment.
- Hands-on, self-starter, self-drive.
- Team/people leadership, communication & presentation skills, delivery management.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and no nine-to-five mentality.
