Our client (with 30 offices worldwide) is a real estate property group. They own, develop and manage real estate all over the world including logistics and industrial facilities, warehouses and business parks. Their investment translates into long lasting relationships with customers worldwide

Due to the continuous growth of the organization and the focus on Development in the Benelux and in particular The Netherlands, we are looking for a junior property manager.



The daily and long-term management of the existing portfolio of logistics real estate assets serves as an ideal stepping stone for a dynamic engineering graduate who will learn the fundamentals of what they are doing on financial, technical and commercial level and get to know the portfolio, customers and suppliers.

Accountabilities & duties:

  • General assistance to the asset management team in all aspects of their work including:
  • Development of strong relationships with customers requiring regular visits to each asset;
  • The presentation of the Portfolio and all technical aspects, including structural maintenance and repairs, building management systems, management of customer issues;
  • The preparation and execution of short- and long-term capex plans;
  • The preparation of the annual building budgets and in the calculation and recovery of outgoings from customers;
  • The process of reconciling customers’ accounts and the arrears control process;
  • The processing of suppliers’ invoices, answering correspondence and monitoring payments;
  • Assisting with the carrying out of rent reviews, including the monitoring of diaries, the interpretation of lease clauses, the documentation and calculation of reviews and all other duties reasonably requested;
  • Managing lease agreements from HOT onwards, including the full setup of the lease in property tool, managing the statutory rent deposits both with customer and authorities;
  • Manage the handover process (including all relevant documentation) in relation to new developments.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Technical or Property related degree;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal);
  • First experience in Real Estate (considered a plus, but not necessary);
  • Property building and technical knowledge;
  • Customer service focus;
  • Initiative and problem solving, sharing knowledge and teamwork;
  • Interpersonal skills and respect for others;
  • Professionalism in all aspects of the work both verbal and demeanour;
  • Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people.
